Theme: 

Objective:

• To learn on what common things exist between different cultures. This will show us that we have a lot of common things although we come from different cultures.

Suggested time needed: 90 minutes

Group Size: 15 -25

Materials needed:

• Stuff that the students will bring

Description of the Tool:

Step 1: The educator will ask the students to bring with them something from their home country that represents their community and their culture. The can bring objects, food or anything that they wish.

Step 2: They would have to make a 2 minute presentation explaining what the thing that they brought is and why they feel its important and why it represents their country/culture.

Step 3: The next step would be for the educator to try and see if there are things that are similar. In that case the educator will explain that although we come from different cultures we have stuff that is common between us and that shows that we are more similar to each other rather than different.
