Objective:

To recognise letters of the alphabet and match them

Time needed:

• 1 teaching hour

Group Size:

• 4-5 students

Age of students:

• 5-7 years old, and for students who have difficulties

Materials needed:

• Alphabet memory cards, hourglass, wordwall.net/resource/3456329/alphabet-memory-game

Description of the tool:

• Turn the cards face over
• Each player will turn over two cards. If they find a matching picture and letter pair, they get to keep the match. We don’t have to use the whole alphabet at one time! Play a more manageable game by selecting just some of the letters.
