Objective:

• This activity exemplifies the influence of partial images we have about others.

• Helps to understand how perception influences our behavior and our relationships with others.
• This can also serve as a fun activity that helps in the bonding of the group

Suggested time needed: 60 minutes

Group Size: 15 -25

Materials needed:

• Papers
• Pens
• Papers with the roles

Description of the Tool:

Step 1: The educator will divide the students into four equal sub-groups.

Step 2: Each group will receive an envelope including the beginning of a story about a character. (This is the story of…) The choice of characters will be adapted to local conditions. The students have to continue the story.

Step 3:Each memeber in the group has to continue the story at least once. They have to think and say the story fast so that they say what first comes to mind.

Step 4: There will be a reporter in each group who will write down the story and then say it to the whole group.

Step 5: Debriefing
