Objectives:

• To encourage creativity and promote intercultural learning 

• Help the students to learn about empathy

• Improving the writing skills of students in a foreign language

• Provide the opportunity for students to learn more on other cultures

Materials needed:

• Postcards
• Letters
• Stamps
• Pens

Description of the Tool:

Step 1:Each student will be given another young person from abroad with whom to communicate on a regular basis.

Step 2: After a year the educator can check out what was the learning that came out of this experience. Each student can speak about what they learned out of such experience

Notes to facilitators:

Note 1:This can be done traditionally via letters or via emails 

Note 2: Give some idea of topics they can discuss like food, music, what is it like to live in that country etc
