Objective:

To learn how to count, to add and to subtract by moving right and exercise our reflexes from one circle to the other.

Time needed:

• 45 minutes (a lesson more or less)

Group size:

• one by one

Age of students:

• 6-8 years old

Materials needed:

• Specialised items like coloured hoola hoops and papers stuck on the wall with numbers referring to the colour. 

Description of the tool:

At first the teacher creates the numbers and the paper – example red paper is number 1, green paper is number 2

Then he/she puts all the plastic cicles on the ground but not in a row. After that you explain to the children that you can just ask them to jump inside a number/circle to the other so they can show the result.

“Show me number 7” or “How much are 9+9, etc”, “Show me 14 minus 3”
